Yes, I am seriously that person. I did indeed just take some pictures of my shoes – and not just any shoes, mind you, but sneakers –  and posted them up here for the jolly lot of you to see.

Believe it or not, this is not my version of Pimp My Ride, where Xzibit shows up, and tells you that he heard you liked shoes, so he put some shoes in you shoes so that you can walk while you’re walking. Robot Unicorn Attack 2: It Will Hoof You In The Face

I bet you thought it wouldn’t happen. I bet you thought that last year, when you were told that you could become a motherflippin’ unidragon, all of your wishes had indeed come true.  Well, you were wrong. As it turns out, you have a lot more wishing to do. Robot Unicorn Attack 2 is here for your iPhone, and it will hoof you in the freaking face.

To be quite honest, I expected to be disappointed. One does not just make a sequel to the unprecedented manic success that was the original RUA. I mean, yeah, sure. There was Robot Unicorn Attack Christmas, Robot Unicorn Attack Heavy Metal, Robot Unicorn Attack Evolution, and most recently, Retro Unicorn Attack, but those were all hardly sequels. You’d even be hard pressed to call them spin-offs, because they were both pretty much the exact same game as the original with some modded up skins, for variety’s sake.

GTA V: Meet Your Protagonists

After announcing a few days ago that we would be seeing not one, but three Grand Theft Auto V Trailers, Rockstar Games makes good on their promise, and delivers the treats they’ve been wickedly parading in front of us.

Titled Michael, Franklin and Trevor, each of the trailers are just over a minute long, and achieve exactly what they’ve surely been designed to do.  Not quite the full meal, (the game will be out on September 17th, as if you didn’t know) but hearty enough to remind us of how yummy a confection it promises to be, and keep our tummies primed for the feast.

Michael, a former career criminal, bored with his current life, and in conflict with his son, Jimmy.

Franklin, a kid trapped in the gang-infested part of town, and looking for a way out.

Trevor, an ex-miliatary bat-weilding redneck drug dealer.

As usual, Rockstar promises to deliver a dark crime-driven tale laced with plenty black humor, sure to lift the most jaded of souls.

Triads Are People Too: A Sleeping Dogs Interview

Some time ago, I noticed that quite a few of the conversations I had with some of my fellow Pork Bun Devotees Sleeping Dogs fans began with the polished gameplay, and then easily steered themselves into story elements and character motivations.

It was almost as if in between missions, kung fu training, and boisterous street vendors, we had all been participants the one of the most engaging interactive crime dramas ever made. Even after I had let the subtleties of the Hong Kong underground escape my brain, there was enough left over to get me wondering if maybe, there might be more than meets the eye to Wei Shen’s tumultuous journey.

It’s a good thing then, that UFG’s Mike Skupa (Design Director) and Tim Carter (Writer) just so happened to drop by, and answer some of my most pressing questions. Read more »
